What do I need to know before traveling?

When will I receive detailed travel information?

You will receive a PDF with the so-called travel information five weeks before the start of your trip. This contains the coordinates of the rural villa, precise directions, information about the handover of the keys, the contact details of your local contact person, and other useful information about your stay.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

The rural villa you have booked is generally ready for occupancy from 16:00. On the day of departure, you should have returned to the rural villa by 10:00 a.m. so that the owner can start cleaning it for the next guests. If you have a house handover with the contact person on site and arrive in Mallorca after 20:00, please inform in advance.

Are different check-in or check-out times possible?

If you would like to check in earlier, this is only possible if the rural villa is not vacated by previous tenants on the day of arrival. Please understand that the owner needs enough time to clean and prepare the rural villa for you. If you have noticed on the occupancy plan of your rural villa that the rural villa is not occupied before your travel period, you are welcome to send us or the property manager a message. We will then ask the property manager if an earlier check-in is possible. Please note that this can only be requested 1-2 weeks before arrival. Likewise, a later check-out depends on the subsequent occupancy and can be clarified by you on-site with the contact person.

What is the compulsory registration form?

Why do all travelers aged 16 and over have to be identified?

According to article 50, paragraph 11 of the Balearic Islands Tourism Law (Law 8/2012 of 19 July, as amended on 01.08.2017), the holiday rental operator must provide the police (Dirección General de Policía) with the information about their holiday guests in accordance with the Citizen Security Law. The notification must receive the following information and must be collected from each holiday guest aged 16 years and over: Name, surname, identity document number, type of identity document, date of birth, sex, nationality, date of commencement of stay, and signature of the holiday guest. Fincallorca will send you a form by email five weeks before your arrival.

The mandatory registration forms are for the landlord. We, therefore, ask you to print them out and fill them in for each person traveling with you. Together with a copy of the ID, the mandatory registration forms are then to be handed over to the owner at check-in.
